There's  some conflicting depictions  of magic in pop culture these days:
On the one  hand, you have the highly publicized, death-defying stunts of David Blaine and Long Islander Criss Angel.
On the other, you have Arrested Development 's Gob, a moronic man-child who confounds bingo-hall-sized audiences with theatrical  card tricks set to Europe's "The Final Countdown."

Twenty-five-year-old  Israeli magic man Ehud  Segev, aka The Mentalizer,  practices a more mystical  form of illusion, based  on his alleged capacity  for telekinesis, telepathy and all that fun mind-bending  stuff.

Prepare to have  your heart stopped and  your mind read.
